Title: Preset copying and storage
Post by: Aubrey on April 21, 2014, 09:53:35 AM

I have created user defined batch processing presets on my desktop machine.
Then used pack and go to transfer everything to my laptop.

I do not see the user defined presets for batch processing on my laptop. I suspect it's something I must be doing incorrectly!

In which directory/folder are the presets stored? Is it likely that during an earlier installation of IM5 that I manually selected a different folder (but  not sure where I would have selected this in Preferences)?

Thanks,
Aubrey.

Batch Processor presets are stored "per-user" in the IMatch settings database (C:\ProgramData\photools.com\IMatch5\config\IMatch5.PTS).
This file is restored by Pack & Go unless there was a problem, e.g. insufficient privileges. Did you check the protocol for corresponding messages?

Hello Mario.,
This is good information, I'll now work it through.
I have different user names on each computer, one uses my first name, the other my surname.
Thanks,
Aubrey.

Then that explains that. IMatch separates settings by user name.
