I am trying to understand how to transfer Settings (especially File Window Layout/Workspaces) from one PC to another.
I used the pack and go utility, but this did not transfer my Workspace and/or file window settings (especially column settings).
Are they generally not included in pack and go utility or are there special pre-conditions (same username,...)?
Can I transfer the file window layouts via "Edit Layouts / Import & Export" ?
Do I have to do it manually or is there some automatism or file that I could sync?

Is the default Workspace transferred or do I have to create a custom workspace?

Sorry for all these questions, but I have carefully read the help file and did not find tips for Workspace and file window transfer.
Normally, the sync of these settings may not be necessary, but especially in the beginning, I am experimenting with the lots of new layout features and would like to have them on all my PCs...
It's all stored in the settings database (the IMatch5.pts file).
Workspaces are user-specific, so you have to have the same user name on both computers.
Ah, okay, that may be the problem.
By accident, usernames are slightly different here.
Any chance to transfer settings anyway?
I doubt that simply renaming one user account will help..!?
IMatch stores the user name exactly as delivered by Windows and compares it case-sensitive. If you rename the user the settings will be restored automatically. But renaming a user account may cause consequences with other applications and services. I would not do that.

File Window Layout may work with export/import, but what about the complete Workspace?
IMatch currently has no provisions to transfer user-specific settings between users.
