Title: Metadata 2 Tab in preferences: protect unwritten data
Post by: picolo on July 10, 2013, 08:06:56 AM
When Protect unwritten metadata is enabled should Protect Rating and Label not be disabled (grayed out)?

Or does Protect unwritten metadata not necessarily protect the Rating and Label?
The help does not help here...

You can protect your unwritten data but allow label and rating to be replaced. This is for users who set rating and label in other apps.
They are not mutually exclusive. If you want to protect both, enable both.
