Title: Option to exclude @keywords in category assignment search
Post by: Carlo Didier on August 10, 2014, 11:36:54 AM
When searching in the category assignment panel for a category, very often I get as a first result an entry from @Keywords, which is totally useless for assignments. This often leads to unnecessary additional steps in searching for an assignable category.

Why don't you open a separate tab in the panel which only contains the category sub trees you are interested in? Without @Keywords? Would that not make for a much more efficient workflow? You can open up to five extra tabs!

For me, these tabs are one the highlights of IM5 and category assignment  :)

I have several tabs (for the big Ws). A good suggestion. but still, being able to search through all the category tree EXCEPT @keywords would be nice.

Make one tab without @Keywords, then search there. Should be easy to do, unless you have tons of top-level categories and change these all the time...

I tried that but couldn't find out how to do it. @Keywords is at the same level than my other top level categories and I can only select one top level category for a new tab. Well, I can select several, but only one is set as the root of the tab...
