Title: how to view thumbnail and the categories assigned to the file
Post by: bnewman on September 04, 2014, 03:39:23 AM
in imatch3 there was a simple means to click a given thumbnail and see the list of all the categories (and only those categories) associated with it. It would also be possible from that list to right click and unassign specific categories. This is an embarrassingly newbie question, but I cannot see from the help how to do something equivalent, but i'm sure there must be something. What is it?

What you are looking for is "The Categories Panel". F9,C

Thank you for the response. I had already been assigning categories with the category panel. What I needed was to select the "Current" tab in the panel, which I just now found.

Please make sure you read the help topic for the Category Panel (click inside the panel, then press <F1>). This panel contains a lot of features which are not immediately obvious. And if you missed the Current tab so far, so may have missed many of the other features as well. Check out the help, may save you a lot of time...
