Win7 x64 SP1
IM 5.2.2
The default dark theme of IM5 looks great, but it's jarring to see those bright colours in dropdown menus, context menus and the dialogs such as the Preferences dialog.
Any chance of getting those items to use the dark theme?
It would really make IM look sharp....
IMatch uses the system standard menus, which use the system standard colors.
I don't understand what you're saying. Those dropdown menus and context menus are not even using the colours I've specified for my system.
The main menu bar uses a dark gray background and white text. I'd like the dropdown menus and context menus to also use those colours.
Other applications such as PaintshopPro, PhotoLine, XnViewMP, etc., all use the application's dark gray theme for the main menu bar and the dropdown menus and context menus. That's what I'm asking for as a Feature Request.
I may contact the toolkit vendor so he considers your request for one of the future releases. I would not hold my breath, though.
Fair enough. IM's main window has such a great-looking dark theme that those bright menus and sub-menus make the program look somewhat awkward and unfinished.

No doubt, but Ken's got a good point about consistency (or lack thereof). On the other hand, Adobe must use the same UI toolkit for Photoshop CC, from appearances. Not that this really affects functionality.
