Title: Defining Categories as FAVORITES via right-click menu
Post by: ubacher on November 02, 2014, 03:02:31 PM
The mock-up shown in the attached screen shot should be self explanatory.

(Defining a category add-hoc as a favorite is cumbersome -dragging it from the category panel
to the favorites panel. The suggested method would be simpler and consistent with the other items on
the right click menu)

Creating Favorites via Drag and Drop is the default method and consistent with the rest of the system.
The right-click method is only available for objects which cannot be dragged and dropped, e.g. Metadata Templates.
I don't think that dragging one or more categories to the Favorites Panel is really much of a burden. Let's see how many votes this gets.

I'm a big fan of right-click menus ... It has the advantage to work even if the favorites panel isn't visible.

In this case its the other way round: we could define a favorite without having to switch to the category display.
(From which one now has to click and drag the wanted category).
