Title: Transfering db without transfering image cache - how does IM handle this?
Post by: ubacher on November 04, 2014, 02:34:59 PM
When I transfer a db to another computer via Pack&Go but not transfer the preview cache
IM should recognize that it starts with an empty cache file. All images marked as having cache entries
should be reset. My experience shows this is not so. Is there something I ought to do to "zero"
the preview cache entries?

How is an image marked as having a cache image?
If the cache manager cannot find the cache file on disk, it will re-create the cache file automatically.

I got confused because I had forgotten that I had redirected the cache file from the default location to another disk.
(And there was a cache file of the same name in the default location.)

I think all is well.
