Your question is not really clear.

Do you want to find all files which have two specific categories assigned?
=> Just go to the Category View and select both categories (with <Ctrl>

There is no way to find all files with 2 or more categories. What would that be good for?

Other features which allow you to find files by categories:

1. Filter Panel

Enable the Category Filter if not visible via the Gear button in the Filter Panel toolbar.
Then include the categories you want to use for filtering.
The File window then shows only files which are in the checked categories.
To find all files with these categories in your database, select the Database Node in the Media & Folders View. This brings all files in your database into the file window, and the filter then works with that.

If you are now to IMatch 5, check out the Filter Panel help, especially the search scope.

2. @Builder in the Category View

This panel allows you to combine categories using AND, OR and NOT by just drag and drop.

When you say "category panel" are you referring to the one on the right? If so you can simply scroll to see which categories contain an X.
