Title: Color Coding Categories
Post by: Clayton on January 02, 2015, 09:21:53 PM
I am a new user and I am having trouble color coding categories.  I have read that there is a feature http://www.photools.com/3594/visual-clues-improve-workflow/ but i cannot figure out how to actually get the colors started.

Thanks

Hi Clayton,

Welcome aboard.

Open the Categories View on the left and below the Categories you will see "Properties". This is shown in the attachment.

If you set your focus to a category and press <F1> you will be taken to "Categories" in Help. You can then scroll down to "The Category Properties Tab" to learn more.

Thanks!  I will probably have a lot more questions for you in the next couple months.

As a new user of IMatch, I am sure you will have many questions. There are many here who will answer if they can but I recommend that you keep <F1> in mind. Almost anywhere you work in IMatch, pressing <F1> will open the Help files to the right spot. You can also search Help IF you can think of the right words to search for.

If you have found and read the proper topic in Help but still have a question, that fact should be mentioned in your post. In my opinion, Mario has done an outstanding job creating the Help files but if a reader does not understand what they say, that needs to be known.
