I noticed on Facebook that you publicised this new photools help page:
http://www.photools.com/3695/ignoring-small-embedded-previews-raw-images/ (http://www.photools.com/3695/ignoring-small-embedded-previews-raw-images/)
Can I clarify something? In this post:
https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=3913.msg27608#msg27608 (https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=3913.msg27608#msg27608)
you indicated that we could only get a full-size image if the WIC codec supported it, and there's no evidence that the available ones for Fuji RAF do.
So what you say in the help page only applies if the WIC codec supports it - is that right?
This is undefined. The WIC codec can only extract the preview embedded by the camera (or processing software). If a preview is requested, the WIC codec searches for the corresponding image file in the RAW and extracts it. I've added a few sentences about WIC to the know-how article.
