Is it just wishful thinking or is 5.3.8 faster responding to simple window switches etc.?

Or maybe just on my system?
Anyone else noticed an improvement?

I've mostly worked with XMP metadata stuff and it's definitely faster for me. :-)

Did you see the comments in the release notes?
I explain there what has changed and how this max improve performance for a wide range of scenarios.
