Title: A quick way to show/hide annotations in viewer
Post by: ubacher on April 22, 2015, 06:59:44 AM
When inspecting files in the viewer the annotations are always displayed.
They can be in the way when inspecting images for picture flaws.

I propose a toggle key and/or icon which turns annotations on/off.
I am not sure if the "on" state should be automatic each time the viewer starts or if
there should be a way to turn annotations on/off in preferences like one can for the quick panel.

I think as face recognition becomes more popular this will become more of an issue.
One can not click the face to get a 100% view if there is an annotation, one has to click outside of it.
This can be a nuisance or even disabling.

Just press <A>,<E> to toggle the annotation display.
Or use the Display Options > Show Annotations command.

Please see the Viewer topic in the IMatch help system for an overview of all available commands and options in the Viewer.
