Title: renaming images - using manual sort sequence - Solved?
Post by: rgdudley on December 01, 2015, 08:18:37 PM
I am scanning some older negatives and prints and would like to rename groups of these files after they have been imported into iMatch.

Within a folder I would like to sort the images manually (custom) and then rename them adding a number sequence matching the order I have given them in the folder.

example output:  199206 river trip 001.jpg     Where 001 is the first file in my folder.

In the batch re-namer I do not see a way to select that profile..... OH!, OK...  now I see that I can do this by selecting the blank profile.  ;D

Is that right?

Unless you select a sort profile in the Renamer, it will use the same sequence as the file window.
