Title: Design and Print... opening
Post by: Aubrey on January 21, 2016, 01:32:23 PM
Why do we have to drop an image on "Design & Print" in order to open it?
Is it simply due to having the same syntax as Image Batch Processor etc....

If one is working on a montage then one will come back into a template and work on it there (photos have already been stored in template)

It would be easier just to click on Design and Print and it opens.
Then later if one needed more images one could add them by dropping them.

not sure that I've expressed myself well....

Aubrey.

You need to drop a file. If you use a static template, you can drop any file.
I always want to add it under File > Print as well, but never had the time. You may post a feature request.

OKAY I know that I can drop any file.
If there is no physical reason why this can't be done then I might add a feature request.

Thanks,
Aubrey.

I have added a command to open Design & Print directly from the File menu (or via Ctrl+P) for the next release.
It uses the current selection in the active file window (if there is one).

Cool!
:o

I think this will be useful as it allows a larger file viewer area to make image selections before some real estate space is taken up by the tools panel on the right side of the file window

Thanks,
