Title: Batch processor: Allow also the copying of Attributes
Post by: ubacher on April 01, 2016, 05:11:05 PM
I would like to be able to copy attributes to output files which are generated by the batch processor.
(They count as metadata - right? But seem to have been forgotten)

Attributes are stored in the IMatch database, not in the file. If the output files created by the Batch Processor are not re-imported into the database (which is the case in probably 99% of all cases), there is no place to copy the Attributes.

Obviously this only makes sense if the resulting file is added to the database!

I do use the batch processor to create place-holder files - this is how this need came up.

And, of course, if one makes a copy of images having different dimensions one would probably also want to have the
attribute in the copy.
