I'm not sure if this question fits in here, but found no better place...

Is it possible to setup a RSS feed on new posts?

I don't use RSS a lot, but I tried a couple of settings and only got the announcement forum.

You need to be logged into the community to see more than the announcement forum.
This security is also established when you access the RSS feed. Otherwise everybody with the RSS URL could spy on forums to which he has no access.

I was going to use Thunderbird as an external RSS reader, but I don't think that it can log me in, unless there's an add-on for that.
