Title: File Window Refresh
Post by: stephock on January 07, 2017, 02:22:04 PM
When I display any scope in the file window by clicking on a folder, the display starts from the first photo in the folder (no active filters). If I then change the scope by clicking on another folder the display opens somewhere in the middle, or even at the end of the scope, so that I have only three or four photos displayed on screen. To get to the first picture in the scope, I need to page up. Is there anyway of setting the pointer (or whatever the program uses) so that a new scope will always open at the top?

Never heard about such a problem.
By default, the file window remembers the last selected file and restores the layout, scrolling to make that file visible. It does that per folder.

You mean that each time I show a folder, the program remembers the last photo in that folder? If so, is there anyway of having an option to reset that? Very quick response. Thank you!

Yes. Also for categories etc.
This makes it very easy to do comparisons, using the history buttons to move back and forth between folders etc.
There is no option to turn that off.
You can go to the first file with <Home> any time.
