Title: FlashControlMode
Post by: zematima on April 05, 2017, 07:02:53 PM
Hi:
Using ExiftoolGUI I can see a tag named FlashControlMode. This tag gives you the mode the flasf was fired (TTL for instance)
In IMatch I can't see this tag. I would like to use it in my metadata profile.
Is it possible?
Thanks in advance,
JRosa.

Where do you expect to see this tag?

Switch the Metadata Panel to Browser Mode to see all tags imported by ExifTool for your files.
You can customize the Metadata Panel to show any tag you like.

Hi:
I can only see Flash Mode which gives me an On parameter.
I can't see any tag on which there is the mode (TTL, TTL BL, M, ...) used in the flash when I take the photo.
I assume that Browser Mode has all tags imported by ExifTool, but in ExifToolGUI this tag appears under Maker.(so it is not a tag that belongs to the EXIF tab)
Thanks in advance.
JRosa.

Edit->Preferences->Metadata 2 -----> Tag manager

There you might find the tag and you can see if it is stored by Imatch.
Not all tags are imported to keep the database smaller - select those tags (will be under your camera make)
which interest you.

Hi Ubacher:
Thanks for the tip.
Now I can see the information I want.
Thanks again.
