Title: License Transfer
Post by: jeg on September 27, 2017, 09:17:36 PM
I bought a home licence and activated this on my computer. This works fine. But now I'd like to move the ImatchAnyWhere on a different computer in the same network. How can I transfer the licence?

Did you try to activate on the other computer?
I allow a certain number of re-activations in a given period (90 days) to make it easier for users.

Note. A license can legally only be used on one computer. Activating it on another computer will void the other activation.

When I try to active the licence I get the message:

The license has already been activated on another computer. The last activation was less than 90 days ago. You cannot active it at this time on a different computer.

For me it sounds like it is reverse, I cannot reactive before 90 days are over.

I want to avoid that users buy one HOME license and then activate it on their entire computer fleet. Has happened, more than once.
A license can be hence activated on another computer 90 days after it has been first activated. I consider this fair and it is documented.

In rare cases I may make an exception from that rule.

Contact me via my support email: https://www.photools.com/support

Include your license key and the information IMWS controller copies into the clipboard when you click on this button:

I can then check the activation state and activated computers for your license. I can also reset the license remotely.
