Title: Automatic backup of db using scheduler with Save and Restore
Post by: Aubrey on November 05, 2017, 08:50:05 AM
Is anybody performing an automatic backup of the database using save and restore using task scheduler?

One issue that I will face is that often I work with IMatch and then leave it running. This would cause issues for S&R to launch.
Is there a command line command that can shutdown IMatch?

Aubrey.

Can't you just include your database in your standard daily backup?
Most backup software can backup open files (TrueImage, Macrium Reflect).

That's true, I was trying to ensure everything was neat in a S&R file.

Perhaps I'm taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut! As you say the main thing is to have the db backed up.

Thanks,
Aubrey.

I let my backup software handle the DB backups... automated and I don't need to worry about it...
