Title: Auto-stack feature: How to control stack order?
Post by: photomy on November 14, 2017, 05:26:46 PM
Auto-stack feature seems to always want to put .jpg on to of raw file.  I would prefer the other way around, possibly.  So, how do dictate/control the order of the stack?

Thanks, Tom

As far as I'm aware - the only way to do this with auto-stack is to have the image you wish to display on top be of this highest rating...

Why don't you just use a version stack instead?

When you use auto-stacking you don't have the same level of control. It just looks for files matching your definition and stacks them in the order in which it finds them - which is the order in which you sort them in the file window.

Either use the "highest rating" option or ensure that your sort profile lists the RAW first in the file window.

Or, use version stacking, which seems to be what you actually want.
