Title: Question about location in IMA metadata panel
Post by: DigPeter on December 04, 2017, 07:23:30 PM
On what metadata tags are the location in the metadata panel filter based?  For instance, Croatia displays 518 results in the metadata panel and 1486 in the categories panel, based on the tag xmp:DC/subject.

xmp-dc:Subject are flat keywords. They are not related to location.
The location data shown in the Default metadata panel is based on XMP Composite tags which are based on XMP tags.

Tip: When you move the mouse cursor over the tag title in the Metadata Panel, IMatch displays the full tag name in the tooltip.

Thank you.  I just editing my OP to say that I had found that it is based on XMP composite tags.

Where is the tool tip in IWV?  I do not get the full tag name by hovering aver any box shown in the attached.

EDIT - I know about hovering to get tool tips in IMatch 2017

Ah, IMatch Anywhere WebViewer you mean. No tooltips there of course. Would not work well anywhere except on desktop browsers. No hover with touch ;-)

Same source as in IMatch, the Composite\Country tag is used.
