Title: Want to hide a subfolder tree
Post by: sampson on March 06, 2018, 01:40:34 PM
My folder tree is like this:
Top
- Sorted by reliable DateTimeOriginal or other EXIF metadata
- Sorted by  unreliable FileModifiedDate

For Timeilne, any search result, collections etc, can I hide the unreliable tree quickly?  How can I unhide them?

I don't understand. What do you mean by "hide"?
You cannot hide collections or timeline nodes, for example.
You can collapse them (click the parent so the child elements are hidden).

You can use the Folder Filter in the Media 6 Folders View to temporarily restrict the tree to show only folders with names matching your search.

For "hide", I mean:

1.  Timeline will not include images in the folder tree.
2.  If there is a Maps view, images under that tree will be excluded also

You can use the Filter Panel to filter out unwanted images in any of the Views.
To 'hide' images from view (don't show the thumbnail) you can use the Protected Files feature.
Does this help?
