I got the following two screenshots while trying to download 2018.7.4 (both times same e-mail and password).
Same errors via both options
Same Error here,
Heiner
Error 3003 in the Portal and nothing happens with the updater.
Make sure you use the license key you have received for IMatch 2018.
You can log into the customer portal using any valid license key and you will see all licenses associated with your email.
The updater only accepts the IMatch 2018 license key.
If in doubt, contact me via support email address (https://www.photools.com/support/) and send me your license key or IMatch 2018 purchase / upgrade number (from the myCommerce email).

Does this mean you see an error message somewhere in the customer portal, with the number 3003?

Yes. Look into my second screenshot (firts post).
I used the licence key for IMatch 2018.
In my second screenshot (first post): Release date: Jul 27, 2018
But today is: Jul 24, 2018
There are already bug reports open for this.
Now it's working (Updater App and Customer Portal).
Yep. Good news !
Now it works for me too!
Just as caveat for other users: I first tried to provide my license key from IMatch 2017. While this works for the customer portal, where all products I purchased are listed, no matter which license key I use to log in, the Updater App expects (only) the IMatch 2018 key. Makes sense, of course.
As often, error sitting in front of the PC :-(
That's why I mentioned this explicitly in the update announcement and in the updater itself ;D
Very nice app.
It's much more convenient to use the update app now.
Thanks! ;D

Glad to hear that you like it.
It's more convenient for users, more secure for me and I can manage the bandwidth better to control the load on the server dynamically. Win-win!
