When IMWS was released a few years ago it was a completely new product.
At the time it was clear that one purchased one license or another with no upgrade options except with TEAM optio where number of concurrent users could be increased. Users were not familiar with the power of IMWS.
Have you given a thought that perhaps HOME users would like to upgrade to PRO but that currently there is no path to do this except to thow out the HOME license and buy a PRO license.
Perhaps with the new release an option could be available for current HOME users to upgrade to PRO, at a price less than the PRO license, but more than the discount given to current users of PRO license.

Despite hundreds of thousands of testers all over the world. You don't want this to happen to IMatch Anywhere, don't you? Better get it ready first, then ship.

My comment was if you had given any more thought for HOME users being able to upgrade to PRO. When the product was initially released the power of this product was not appreciated.

No plans in that direction at this time.
HOME is super-duper cheap and I guess buying a PRO license for users who need PRO features is not that expensive. At least not that expensive that a special cross-upgrade discount is needed.
Maybe I'll throw a rebate party at some time in the future. But currently I only focus on getting IMatch Anywhere out of the door. And the next IMatch update of course.

Allowing upgraders to pick their upgrade path seemed to be the easiest solution.
I anticipate that some users want to upgrade from HOME to PRO because they've bought HOME as a (cheap) test and now need more parallel users and access control features.
With a 40% discount on the PRO edition they get an affordable upgrade path - and I get a bit more money for my work. Win-win, if you will.
