When an upper level folder is closed and then reopened all the sub folders show in the tree with their previous state, open or closed. This is useful in most situations. Sometimes I want all of the sub folders closed, which now requires many mouse clicks. It would save some time to have a function that closes all folders below so that when the level that has been closed is reopened then all the folders below it will be closed.
Windows offers a range of keyboard shortcuts to expand/close levels in tree controls. If you are not aware of these, have a look at the Media & Folders help: Frequently Used Folder Commands (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#mf_basics.htm?dl=h-18)
Thanks Mario. I wasn't aware of these useful shortcuts. Ctrl and * takes care of it.
