Title: Remove Video/Audio File Formats
Post by: scottstone on February 06, 2019, 05:51:07 PM
In preferences under file formats for Video/Audio File Formats I would like to keep a single file format from being imported into my database (it's an .MTS extension).  But, it is listed with a whole bunch of other file formats I would prefer to be included in my database.  It seems you either exclude them all (not ideal) or include them all (also not ideal).  Is that correct?

Thanks.

Yes, this is correct. You cannot exclude individual file formats.
In principle, IMatch is designed to manage all files in folders you include in the database.

If you want to exclude some files from being managed, it is easiest and safest to move them to a folder not indexed by your database.
