Title: Filter-Panel
Post by: HaWo on February 12, 2019, 11:05:51 AM
When I open the filter panel and I see the market 'Filter Panel', I don't know, which filter is exactly activ.
Since many years I ask me the same.

Is it possible, that this filter get another background color in the list or an information what is activ?

Active Filters have a blue caption bar and show a check box.
In this screen shot the Rating and File Properties filters are active:

I understand. You mean  other information like screenshot 'marked_filter'.

My idea was screenshot filter_panel2

Thank you for the quick answer.

Just recently I thought about this same feature: that the checkmarked filter presets be highlighted
(even better if the highlighting were to show only when the filter is activated!)

Would that be worth a feature request?

Just selecting a previously defined filter in the list does not load the filter settings into the controls of the filter panel.
It just combines that filter with whatever filters are currently active and also with other presets you have checked at the time.

You need to use the green load button in the toolbar to load your preset into the filter panel. This will then also enable and highlight the corresponding panels (if they are loaded).

Highlighting the checked presets would help me a lot. I find I often overlook a checkmarked preset  and wonder
why my filter does not work.

Since this is already a feature request track I put a

+1

What about using the  'active' color also for active stored presets, like so:

You cannot make better my problem from first post. It is o.k. with some clicks.

The other aktiv marked filters works fine - thank you very much from my eyes.

Your problem from the first post is not a problem.
The Active Filter represents whatever is currently in the filter panel.

To see the settings of your other previously stored filters you need to load them with the red arrow button. Then the filter panel is cleared and loads whatever settings are in your loaded filter.
