Title: Removing accidentaly added C Disk
Post by: Slavko Raspotnik on April 12, 2019, 06:03:29 PM
Hello,

I am a new user of iMatch software. I like it and I learn already two days on how to use it. I have one problem. I accidentally added My Hard disk C to Media&Folders Panel. Now I have problem to remove it. I try all possible method like right mouse click etc. but without success. I see only two option "rescan and relocate" and that is. I hope somebody can help me with answer on removing accidentally added disk or folders.

Thank you in advance,
Slavko from Slovenia

You cannot remove a disk from your database. IMatch automatically removes the disk when the last folder from drive c:\ is removed.

Right.click on each top-level folder on drive C: and use the "Remove from Database" command (DO NOT CONFUSE THIS with "Delete Folder").
Once all folders are removed, IMatch removes the C: disk node as well.

Tip: You may need to press <F5> to refresh the view or close and re-open the database afterwards to get rid of C:
