Title: Thesaurus Manager
Post by: dbvirago on June 07, 2019, 03:00:12 PM
Just finished the thesaurus video and have a quick question

First, I typed in usage terms in the metadata panel and saved it to the thesaurus. Now, as expected, if I start typing or click the dropdown, I can select that entry.

But, if I click on the thesaurus manager, only the keyword panel shows up. If I click on the dropdown arrow as shown in the video, the only selection that shows is keywords.

Usually the thesaurus manager allows you to select for which tag you want to edit entries.
Only Keywords is visible by default. The other entries show up once you add content for them in the Metadata Panel (F6 key).
Note that the MD panel automatically keeps a history of recently used entries which are used to auto-fill while you type (in addition to the thesaurus).
You can also see these entries in the drop-down menu (at the top) available for each field in the MD panel.

Have you added contents for the first time or did you add new content to an existing thesaurus entry?
I have quickly tried both situations here, and the new entries are listed in the MD panel and the new tags (and the contents I've added) also show up in the thesaurus manager. Looks good to me.

This will be worth your time. Many not immediately obvious features to explore. Each may save you a lot of time in the long run.
