Title: Moving photo folders from local disk to NAS
Post by: Gaestehaus on June 26, 2019, 09:53:03 AM
Hello,

I would like to move my standard destination folder for photos from a local disk on my PC to my local NAS.
Can I do that WITHOUT reindexing the Imatch database? The folder structure rests the same, just the root folder ist changing.

It ist not fun reindexing more then 40.000 photos! In needs serveral hours with high likelihood of failure.

1. Close IMatch if it is running.
2. Move your files in Windows Explorer or with something more reliable like RoboCopy.
3. Open your database and relocate the moved drive/media/folder.
