Title: How to select only duplicates
Post by: fischmir on January 31, 2020, 08:07:23 PM
Hi,

I know how to find duplicates. When I press CTRL+A and set a label (e.g. red), then also the original pic is set with that label.

How can I select only duplicate files?

Thanks,
Christian

Read almost the entire help ;-)

It is explained here: https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#ws_resultwnd.htm

Thanks!

If you set IMatch to show the original alongside the matches (which is off by default) and you press Ctrl+A, the original is also selected.
Which is the of course the intended behavior in this case.

You can either switch IMatch to showing the original separate in the result window. Or you de-select the original after Ctrl+A. Depending on whatever works best for you in the current situation.
IMatch is flexible enough to let you use whatever you prefer.
