My previous PC had an small SSD drive C: and a very large drive D: where all my photos were stored.
My new PC has simply a very large drive C: and no drive D: (well actually drive D can be a thumb drive, an optical drive, or an external drive.
Is there some way to tell the database that all the files are on C: now?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Short answer: See the Help topic at https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#file_management.htm#a_relocate
Good luck!

Yes. As jch2103 pointed out, you simply need to relocate your files in IMatch from their old location to the new location. This tells IMatch that your files are now on a different disk.
There is a dedicated section in the help for this common issue:
Off-line Folders and Files (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#offline-files.htm)Don't forget to make a backup (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#backup.htm?dl=h-4) of your database before you start with relocate. This way, if something goes wrong, you can just restore the database from the backup and start over.
