Title: Annotation layers in Image Batch Processor
Post by: Aubrey on February 28, 2020, 04:54:21 PM
It would be good to be able to define which annotation layer is to be printed.
One does not always want persons printed with other annotations.

Currently one can only switch on or off annotations, one cannot deselect persons.

See attached jpg for clarity.

The current workaround is to go to annotations box and deselect "Persons" in annotations. This is not an efficient workflow!

Aubrey.

How many different types of annotations do you use?
Is the "Don't include annotations" option in the Batch Processor not sufficient?

I regularly use the text annotations on photos of people.
Putting amusing comments on the photos.
I would also like to be able to search for people in various photos (now possible).
Clearly when I am preparing photos for the web I don't need the people's names. the friends viewing already know the people.

So I only use text annotation, but now I will have people annotation. It would be useful to have these separated in the batch processing. (Attached is an example image)

The Batch Process now has two separate options for including annotations:

1. Include Annotations (which renders all annotation types except face annotations)
2. Include Face Annotations (which renders only face annotations)

This gives you detailed control over which annotations you want to include and improves privacy.
