Title: Keywords/Categories -> People
Post by: axel.hennig on March 05, 2020, 12:08:10 PM
With the newly introduced People concept in IMatch 2020 it is possible to (automatically) add keywords/categories to a person.

I would like to have it also the other way round that when I assign an image to a category, then this image is added to a specific person in the People view. Why? Because sometimes there is a person on an image, but "without" a face (wearing a carneval-mask, photographed from behind,...).

Persons are linked to face annotations (the green rectangles surrounding the face).
Assigning an image to a category cannot create a face annotation or link a person to that file "out of the blue sky". This is not how this feature works.

You can always create face annotations yourself, even if the person is seen from the behind or is not a person at all.
IMatch does not care. It creates a "manual" face annotation and allows you to assign a Person to that box. From then on, it works like with all other persons and face annotations.

I link again to the corresponding section in the IMatch help: True Manual Face Annotations (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#people.htm?dl=h-59)
