Title: Settings: difference between globally stored and per database stored settings?
Post by: Stefan on March 10, 2020, 08:58:02 AM
Which settings (edit -> preferences) and configurations (e.g. Workspaces) are stored globally in IMatch 2020 and which settings are stored per database?
I noticed Edit -> Preferences -> Application settings seem to be stored globally (as the name suggests, but really all of them?) and cache settings are stored per database (seems logically). Workspaces seem to be globally used (makes sense, but it is also not obvious why not per database). How about all the other settings and configurations and AI things like face annotations?

IMatch maintain over 300 settings per-user, per-database, per-computer and mixtures of that.
There is no documentation for users about these settings.
Workspaces are per-user.
