Hi Mario
thanks for the new version.
Downloaded, installed and works like a charm.
And yep, the "lost focus" works again. Funny, a really small thing, but that you fixed this tiny glitch helps in my workflow a lot. :D
And overall, a lot of improvements and fixes.
Thanks for that.
And, ahem, stay healthy! ;) :)
This is a good spot for me to pipe up. ;D
It's been a very very long time since I've been in here. But I wanted to thank Mario for this latest update.
Life got in the way a few years back and I had to reduce my photography a LOT. Like even stopping the side gigs I was doing. I still used IMatch, but on a more occasional basis & the categorizing & keywording was getting tedious.
I import a recent shoot I did and upon importing, lo and behold an update notice. Taking a look at the added features, I couldn't get the credit card out fast enough. Face recognition! Events! Auto-tagging! Those three things are absolutely huge for me.
I'm in the midst of making a major revamp of my database. First I played with face recognition and it works incredibly well. So I set it off and have 37k images to confirm (oops, probably should have done a smaller batch at a time...). That also set off looking at keywording.
I got set up with the Clarifai service & threw a test image at it. Cool! Some great suggestions! I also saw some auto-mapping to my thesaurus. Which showed how lacking it is. So, revising that and re-applying keywords now.
While I have a huge project ahead of me, maintaining the database in the future will be so much easier.

I can remember you good. :D
Welcome back, hopefully your life if fine now.
Welcome back. I hope you enjoy IMatch 2020!
There is more to come. I have some additional time-saver and "make things easier for users" features on my road map. Just wait :)
