I installed the latest version as of today and when I try to run it, it will not start. It does not show in the task manager at all. I have uninstalled all prior versions and installed again and nothing. I ran as admin with no luck. I have tried installing one version back and nothing.

Anything else that I can try?

Windows 10 pro.

Try rebooting your computer (twice). Not sure this will help, but sometimes it can clear out problems.

Is this the first time you install IMatch? Or an IMatch version 2020 and later?

This sounds to me as if your computer does not support AVX and hence IMatch 2020 and later cannot run.

Yup the was the problem. My laptop is not as old is 2011 as you documentation says but it was high powered levovo laptop when I bought it. I checked my wifes less than one year old laptop (not a power machine by any stretch of the imagination) and it will not run on hers either.

I have a MacBook Pro with Parallels but iMatch runs like crap on it (as all software does on on Parallels). This is so frustrating.

Computers with processors that don't have AVX are pretty rare.

Since IMatch 2020 was introduced almost 2 years ago, maybe 10 users were effected, and many of them only on their 'second' PC or very old hardware.

We've started discussing the AVX requirement for IMatch 2020 here in the community in 2019.
I decided that it is safe to require a technology around for a decade to make IMatch better.

I have an old PC, where IMatch does not run, but this computer ist about 12 years old, means quite old.
But I have a laptop, what is about 6 years old and IMatch runs perfectly.
I am sorry for you.
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

I have many images that I want rescan into iMatch and it will just not run to completion in Parallels no matter how I configure the memory or CPU's on the VM. So now I have about 10 years and 45,000 cataloged images that I cannot use or continue forward with unless I spend $1000 to $1500 for a new machine. At times I have thought about coming back to Windows but I just can't move away from the Mac/iPad/iPhone experience that Windows just cannot even come close to. Maybe I can find a cheap used laptop just for iMatch.

IMatch requires AVX since the initial release of IMatch 2020 about two years ago.
If none of your PCs supports AVX, you unfortunately cannot run IMatch versions newer than IMatch 2019.
