Which is the file to copy to iMatch 2019 on a fresh Windows 10 install to retain my settings?

Mario

I would recommend to use Pack & Go
Or, if you want to do it manually, the Backup topic contains the required information.

Thanks, I did Pack & Go. The data came over OK but the UI settings etc didn't. Perhaps I have missed something?

Mario

Many UI settings are machine-dependent and cannot be restored on a new PC. The new PC may have a different graphic card, different monitor size, different Windows version ...

The machine hasn't changed, it's a clean Windows 10 reinstall on the same machine.

Mario

Then the machine name has changed from before. If the computer name is different, IMatch cannot know.

Besides the machine name, do you use the same user name as before?

Thanks both. The machine name had been changes during install (noe reverted) as had the user name (not sure how to do that yet).

See User Name Alias

Note: Windows 10 defaults to your Microsoft account name, not a local user name. Unless you explicitly change this during the installation, your user name will change to your Microsoft account name.
This has been described in more detail on the typical Windows help pages. Use the alias feature in IMatch if you don't know how to change your user name back or break the link between your Windows 10 installation and your MS user account.

Thanks again. I followed the Tenforums tutorial and changed my user filename to what it used to be.
