Keywords dissapear

I am now using Imatch to face tag my photos. I have set Imatch to enter a keyword when confirming a face.

There is a green checkmark in the keyword panel to confirm other keywords I enter. And there is also this green checkmark in the metadatapanel to confirm metadata I enter. I have seen sometimes that keywords dissapear from keyword panel if I confirm keywords first and after that confirm metadata. For other keywords than person-keywords, I can just enter them once more in the keyword-panel. But what about the person-keywords? Do I have to manually enter them or can I get Imatch to rescan and get them back?

I don't understand what you are doing. What do you mean by "confirm"?
To you mean you press Ctrl+S or click on the green "hook" in the toolbar to apply your changes? Or do you switch to the next image, which automatically confirms your changes?
The Metadata Panel in Default layout shows hierarchical keywords. But the main tool to work with keywords is of course the Keyword Panel.

The effect you are describing has never been reported since IMatch introduced person-associated keywords more than a year ago.
So I assume it must be your workflow that is causing this problem.

Please describe in detail what you are doing and in which order.
What you see in the Metadata Panel and Keywords Panel (screen shots).
Under which conditions and after which operation you perform the already assigned keywords vanish.

I will investigate this further. It seems to happen when:

1. Enter keywords in keyword panel
2. Cntrl+save (green hook)
3. Then enter metadata (titles, descriptions, location)
4. Cntrl+save (green hook) in the metadata panel

Sometimes after this process, the keywords are gone and I have to enter them again.

As you said, it could be my workflow. I thought I read that someone else had experienced something similar, but I might be wrong.

I will investigate further to see what happens. Maybe I do something wrong here:)

How have you configured your workspace?
Do you show the Keywords Panel and the Metadata Panel simultaneously?
When you make changes in the Metadata Panel, only the actually changed tags are updated (the ones where the little pen in front of the input field indicates "changed").
I don't know how this could interfere with keywords.
I work this way all the time, entering keywords, metadata and I have never lost any information.
