Propagate Data to Versions

In the Preferences I disabled "propagate for annotations" (Preferences Versioning.jpg).

In a .NEF file I then added a person with "Add Face. ".

With "Propagate Data to Versions" I then wanted to transfer this person to a version of this image. The command is also executed, but the annotation is not transferred (Files.jpg).

According to IMatch Help this should work (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#rel_versions.htm#a_prop The Propagate -> Data to Versions Command).

Have I not interpreted the help correctly, or what am I doing wrong?

You disabled the propagation of annotations (which includes face annotations) and then wonder why the annotations are not propagated?

Which metadata do you propagate from the master to versions?
The screen shot does only show that you propagate dots and pins. Neither annotations nor XMP data?
What happens when you enable the propagation of annotations? Or when you propagate the entire XMP block, which includes face regions?

When I anable the propagation of annotations everything is O.K.
I have misunderstood the help.
