New NEF files not showing properly

I recently started using a Nikon D7500.  Although I usually shoot jpeg I shoot some raw files: NEF

In the past iMatch displays the nef files very well, but I find that the new NEFs from the D7500 when displayed show a fairly rough image.

However, the new NEFs display properly in Lightroom or in Nikon NX studio.

ALSO, my older NEFs display correctly in iMatch.

Not sure what the problem is.  Suggestions.

Thanks, Richard

Please run a WIC diagnosis on one of the problem files and attach the result. See WIC Diagnostics

Make sure you have the latest NEF RAW Codec from the Nikon web site installed. Every NEF variant is different and an older NEF WIC codec may not support the format produced by your camera. See https://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/download/sw/203.html for more information about the latest codec and the Nikon camera models it supports.

If you still have the FastPictureViewer codecs installed, remove them. They are many years out-of-date. Afterwards, select one of the problem images and press Shift+Ctrl+F5. Then choose "Force Update" from the menu.

Thanks, Downloading the new codec worked fine.

Very good.
Nikon is the only major camera vendor who still provides WIC codecs.
