IM5, LR and Rating

Hi,

if I set in IM5 a rating, then I can find it back via ExifToolGui in Xmp:Rating and Exif:Rating. If I do now a "Synchronise Folders" in LR, then nothing of the rating is shown, only if I choose for the selected files "Metadata-Read-Metadata from File", but this is a very time-consuming process.

If I set the rating-values direct via ExifToolGui, then I see the values in LR direct after a "Synchronise Folders", which is a very quick process.

What is IM5 writing/not writing in the metadata, that LR does not recognize the changes or have I to do a special setting in the preferences?

Do you perhaps have enabled the option to keep the file date/time under Edit > Preferences > Metadata 2?

I also use LR, PS and Bridge in my workflow and ratings and labels and other data modified by IMatch is immediately visible in LR.

yes, it was set to keep it ... changed it and now it works! YOU MAKE MY DAY!
