Due to the new version of Exiftool and may be other changes it took roundabout 30 min. to complete it for my 143.000 pics!

Same here - no problems with DL and installation.

Startup completed after 5 Minutes with 65.000 Images in the DB

The install was smooth, but I had an unpleasant surprise with the MRW files from my old Minolta A1:

- the slide-show displays them as 640x480 pixel while the image is 2568x1928 pixel

- the Minolta THM files that were ignored before are now shown in the thumb window.

I will open a bug report for this.

Other file formats, JPG, NEF and RW2 are shown normally. I havn't yet tested the new metadata2 settings.

Hi Mario,

Not tried everything yet my workflow but the reading/writing metadata seems functioned with new metadata 2 options and especially now that we can change IPTC Character Encoding default in UTF-8.
