Consider the file window having 156 files, with the selected file as index:#137.  However, I'm looking at file index:#6.  I don't even know where the file is until I've done a lot of scrolling to come to index:#137.

I could just use the metadata panel to tell me which file is selected, and then use the search bar to select it.  But, I was wondering if there's a quick way to bring any selected file into focus, regardless of where it is in the file window, relative to where I'm parked?

Using the new Command Palette and searching for "focus", I found the "Goto focused file" command.

All these commands are very handy when you deal with large selections or many files.
And the bookmarks fulfill their actual purpose with these commands... ;)
