Hi,

Pls, find attached a screen shot and log where viewer display is something strange and differs from the film strip. Film strip shows what I actually selected  from file window to be displayed (some test images selected  in file window by ANDing two iMatch sample categories ("Make" and "Lens")).

Do you mean the Viewer displays the wrong file ("where viewer display is something strange")?

What does the Quick View Panel show for this file?
Only this file?
Do you use file versioning and proxies?
What happens if you close and re-open the database? Does the problem persist?
What happens if you select the file in the file window and do a <Shift>+<Ctrl>+<F5> and then "Force Update"?

Hi,

Yes, the large picture in viewer is wrong, but name line reads right. The film strip is what it should be. Quick view is wrong exactly in same way.

Hi,

And here are more answers:
-I have defined relationships to recognize buddy files but no versionin. This is based on 8 first char´s of .nef file (nef as the master).
-The problem remained after reopening of db as well as reopening the whole application.
-<Shft><Ctrl>F5 and Force update reset the failure and dispays (viewer, Quick view) show the right picture.

So, what is the lesson?

I have no idea what the lessen is. I don't recall a similar report (except for cases where users accidentally enabled versioning and visual proxies).
Keep an eye on this and if you can reproduce this somehow, we may learn something new.
