Renamer Problem with Nikon Shutter Count

Last week I took a trip and loaded IMatch5 on my laptop.  Each day I unloaded my camera (Nikon D300) to the laptop.  When I tried to use Renamer with '{File.MD.Exif::Main\36867\DateTimeOriginal\0|format:YYYYMMDD hhmmss}-{File.MD.Nikon::Main\167\ShutterCount\0}', the ShutterCount was non-existant.  I still had IMatch3 on my laptop and I tried it - it worked just fine.  When I got home I used GUI for ExifTool and it showed there was a shutter count that agreed with IMatch3.  I tried again with IMatch5 on my desktop this morning, and still no shutter count.

This string used to work with IMatch5 - has something happened?  When I look in Metadata Browser I do not see anything that looks like the shutter count.

Attached is a log file where I did a preview with the above string.

You seem to work with proprietary Nikon maker notes. IMatch no longer imports Nikon maker notes by default. These are hundreds of tags which stuff the database with mostly rubbish data. See Tag Manager.

If you need to use one or more proprietary Nikon maker notes, make sure you enable them in the Tag Manager so IMatch imports them from the file.

Hello,

which parameters I have to set to see the shuttercount in the metadata?

I have troubled the search, have found, unfortunately, nothing, perhaps, I have looked for the wrong concept.

in order to set the wright metadata to load into the database, you should use the Tagmanager (bottom right in your screen shot).

Everything you wish to know is in the help under Tag manager,

The shutter count is a proprietary maker note tag. Different Nikon cameras store it in different proprietary Nikon maker notes. There is no standard "shutter count" tag.

You need to find out which maker note contains the shutter count you want to import, and then enable the corresponding tag in the Tag Manager.

Tip: Use the ExifTool Command Processor with the "List Metadata" preset for one of your NEF or NRW files. Find the group name and tag name for the tag you are after, and then enable this tag in the IMatch Tag Manager. Then reload the metadata for your files using <Shift>+<Ctrl>+<F5> : Reload Metadata.
