GPS location

Is it possible to set the GPS location using the Map panel without the Metadata Location to be automatically changed as well?

At the moment, what I can see is that if I have Metadata Location already defined and GPS data undefined, if I click on a location on the Map and hit the "Apply the target marker to selected files" button, then not only it sets the GPS data it also overwrites the Location data (City, Location, ISO Country Code, etc.) as well.

Disable automatic reverse geo-coding under Edit > Preferences > Geo & Maps.
