I'd like to use IMATCH to find all pictures in which I shot using a circular polarizer or Neutral Density filter.  I don't think this data can be captured by the camera data.  What would be the best way for me to record this data if its not available in the Metadata?

Thanks!

I would consider categories (to which the images are assigned manually) or keywords (assigned to the images).

I created categories for the different flashes, which I use. (it helps me to find multiple flash setups)

If you want to record the data in the file, a keyword is probably best. Or setup your own 'standard' and use one of the many XMP metadata tags available for free text input. If you don't want to record this information also in the file itself, an IMatch category is best.
